Color: Antoinette Dune. I love this khaki print. It's got just enough personality to make an impact without looking overwhelming. Beauty is in the detail!
Color: Chantilly Onyx. This bold black and white print is ultra modern! Imagine it in a room with hot pink accents.
Color: Diamond Spa. This delicate, luxe fabric is formal and understated. The neutral colors and the slight shimmer of the thread would make this a great choice for a formal living or dining room.
Color: Jackie Stone. Definitely a modern choice. I'd choose this for a modern city loft or apartment.
Color: Paisley Copen. I am obsessed with paisley prints. This one is gorgeous. You don't often see paisley prints in cooler colors. Very often they're found in bright oranges, reds, and yellows. There are so many colors in this print (blues, greens, tans, beiges) that it could work virtually anywhere, formal or traditional. Love love love. And so in style.
Color: Pond Spa. This is a very calming pattern. Blue and brown together is a winning combination. This fabric is minimalist and modern.
Color: Ritz Spice Berry. Skinny, vertical stripes create the illusion of height. Drapery panels made of this material, hung from floor to ceiling will elongate your walls and open up the room, if you're trying to decorate a small space.
Color: Rustic Black. You often see Toile de Jouy wallpaper and bedding, but not draperies! Though Toile de Jouy is usually considered country cottage chic, it has really made a comback this year, and can be seen in plenty of modern settings.
Color: Safari Brown. How adorable would this leopard print fabric be for a funky valance in a little girl's room? Animal prints are definitely on the modern side, and make sure not to use too much animal print. it will overwhelm the room and potentially make the space look gaudy. A valance would be the perfect amount.
Color: Wildflower Midnight. Realistic-looking flower patterns are so in for 2009/2010. I love that this pattern is whimsical and romantic, but ultra sophisticated. I could see this modern, I could see this traditional, depending on the existing decor.
Color: Windblown Blue Ice. Icy blue and tan is another take on the ever-popular color combo of blue and brown. The irridescence of this fabric make it more suited for a formal/dressy space.
Happy decorating,
