Pretty, curvy furniture is good for the modern soul. I love the calming effect of sitting in a swervy chair, or eating from a delicate round plate. There are so many ways to depart from the ordinary, so go ahead and don't be afraid to change things up around your house.
Aluminum Rocking Arm Chair. It definitely does rock. In pretty polished, or brushed aluminum (brushed is MUCH more affordable), it’s contoured to the body and comfy as can be. Anything from Phillipe Starck is fine by me.
The Slick collection of Modern Color Cube tables brings whimsical youth to adult pieces. These can be used as end tables, or grouped together to as a coffee table. Try mixing the colors together, or try two black and two white ones for a stark, color-block effect.
Bolla Bubble chair is a work of modern art, as well as a functional chair. It’s almost like your own personal cocoon inside your home. For those of you with real daring, try swinging from your ceiling in this.
So weird and cool. I love the wavy action and the army, industrial color of the Loop Chair. Originally designed in 1954 by Willy Guhl, this chair is handmade, and for both indoor and outdoor use.
The heaviness of the marble is offset by a stainless steel
base, a modern take on marble that is sleek and polished.
The Innermost Delight Drum Shade has great 3D butterfly
detail, yet it's still subdued enought to fit with existing decor. It won't
overpower your space because it's quite simplistic and comes in a lovely creme
color.
What will you do with your firewood once the cold weather subsides? Keep a few nice-smelling wooden logs inside your home as an accent piece in a curved, metal holder like this one from Blomus.
It’s almost like a giant is holding you between his fingers while you sit in this cushy Bali chair.
Kate Spade's Larabee Dot Tidbit plates are charming and fun, yet sophisticated enough to use at your next formal dinner party. Bonus: They're round! I'm tired of square plates; we need a return to the round dinner plate, don't you think?
Happy decorating,

I love curvature in design, everyday we are bombarded with sharp pointy angles in buildings and it is just not organic enough for me to want to bring that into my home. The Bolla chair is awesome, but I will be honest in obsession of all things round I have never eaten a thing off of a square plate.

I love curves! They make me tingle all over.
