We at Blinds.com are proud to introduce the newest members of our team. After 90 days of training the Class of 2012 Cavalry has arrived! Sarah Batalla, our operations trainer, is so impressed by the great outlook on life that this group brings to Blinds.com and is convinced that they will quickly become assets to our call center. Meet the Blinds.com Class of 2012!

Nic Freeman loves spending time with her beautiful daughter, Chloe Marie, boyfriend Louis and family. For her, the best part of working for the Blinds.com team is the encouragement that she receive on a daily basis, especially from her trainers and fellow trainees. Through this process, she has improved by learning to speak up. She is not afraid to talk to trainers about insecurities related to the job, and  welcomes constructive criticism in a way she couldn’t before. As a result, she has become a more upbeat person at home, and knows that every day at Blinds.com is helping to provide a better future for her daughter.
She says, “Thankful doesn’t begin to express how I feel since working here. I prayed for a change of environment that would improve me as a person, and give me the confidence I felt I had lost! God answered my prayers when Te’Quell told me about this place and I am so thankful! Tiki you ROCK! <3″

Schuyler Smith is a recent business school graduate from University of Houston– Downtown with 6 years of sales experience. He’s also a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur, avid runner, and thrill-seeker.

He says, “I bring a drive and dedication that make me a perfect employee for Blinds.com and plan on being very successful during my time here.”
Xavier Smith was born in Agana Heights, Guam, but was raised in Houston, TX. He enjoys playing/ watching basketball, bowling, and spending time with family, especially his nephew (Nehemiah). He is the youngest of 7 kids and graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Katy, TX. Since becoming a part of the Blinds.com family he has learned to never settle for half improvement, he knows that full improvement and great ambition are the keys to success.
He says, “The best part of working for the Blinds.com team is that everyone is always so genuinely nice. I always enjoy a conversation with one of my team members.”
Brad Parler has more than 10 years experience in Art & Broadcast Direction and brings a unique and broad understand of design to the Blinds.com Team.
He says, ” I’m known on the interweb for sporting an awesome handlebar mustache and for my deep affection for all things technology, food, and generic geekery.”

Stanley Moskowitz is a native Texan but has lived in Phoenix, LA, Kobe Japan and Seoul South Korea. He speaks English and Japanese and has taught English as a Second Language for 15 years. His hobbies are singing and cycling. He fronted a blues rock band (Stone Blue) and has ridden the BP MS150 from Houston to Austin six times.

He says, “I worked in broadcasting for 17 years and was once buried alive for three days as a radio station promotion.”
Charlene Buchheit was born and raised in California, is an army brat, and Cancer survivor. She has been married for 3 years, has a niece and nephews she spoils rotten, loves to entertain at home. Since starting at Blinds.com she is trying to be a morning person, but it’s a goal she is continuing to work towards.  She worked for Blinds.com from 2000-2002 when the operation was much smaller and has recently rejoined the team.

She says, “So far the changes I have seen at Blinds.com are quite impressive since I was around when it was just 10 or so employees.”
