PJ Day at Blinds.com- We love Easter Seals!

We’re getting comfy for a great cause! Today schools and offices across Houston participated in a city-wide pajama day to benefit Easter Seals. We, along with many others, collected pajamas that will go to the disabled children and their families that Easter Seals serve – just in time for Christmas! Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for nearly 90 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals. Blinds.com Race for the Cure: Team Blind Faith

This weekend 10 members of the Blinds.com family represented us at Race for the Cure in downtown Houston as Team Blind Faith. The fight against breast cancer is one that we are so honored to support, especially with the thousands of people that turned out to run as well. Our Team’s set out to raise $500 for the Susan G. Komen Society, but they exceeded their goal and raised $550!  Several of our team were running in memoriam of family members lost to breast cancer and other cancers, but many were there to help raise awareness and show support for the women battling this disease.
