DIYs for the Dorm Room: Pinterest Fab 4

dormpinterest DIYs for the Dorm Room: Pinterest Fab 4

As we close out our Dorm Decor Series and Giveaway, we decided to feature some dorm friendly gems from Pinterest this time. Find out how to win HERE, but hurry because today’s the last day to enter!

By now you’ve got the basics covered, but you may be ready for a mid-semester DIY project to add some flair to your room. De-stress after that first test by adding something easy to your room decor.

1. Over the Door Vanity Station- This beauty will help alleviate the morning traffic jam in the bathroom. Create a space of your own to get ready on the back of a closet door or elsewhere, and you’ll have one less fight with your roommate.

2. Plants Perfect for Dorm Rooms- This dwarf lemon tree will thrive in a sunny window and will send wafts of citrus into your room all year round. Mint, Lavender, African Violets or a quirky Cactus will bring you some extra O2 and add some natural elements to your space.

3. Revamp Your Coffee table with Chalkboard Paint- Make your coffee table a conversation piece with chalkboard paint. It’ll be perfect for all night scrabble battles, grocery lists and leaving a message for your roommate.

4. Create Your Own Photo Board- Hang photos or art with a vintage industrial flair. You probably already have these things lying around! Grab an old picture frame, penny nails, and binder clips to hack your own photo hanger.
