I know, I know… it's Wednesday. To make up for the fact that I'm a day late on posting the photo of the week, I've got a DOOZIE. I'm a sucker for roman shades these days, especially when it comes to the lovely Laura Ashley collection. I've written before, and it's been covered in the press (thanks Bridget A. Otto over at one of our fave daily pubs, The Oregonian), that roman shades are seeing a resurgence. I love the flat roman shade in particular because of its easy elegance. The room is formal and dressy, yet the shade shown here gives the room a bit of a relaxed, inviting feel without dressing down the decor. What do you think?
