We love it when our window treatments can help tie a room together (yes, we’re fans) and make a home more livable to boot!   So when we read how our double cell honeycomb black out shades made a difference on the iDreamofClean blog, we had to share!

Have you visited this blog before?  It’s focused on sharing tips and tricks for keeping your home clean, organized and livable so you have more time for the fun stuff!

Honeycomb shades cool it down!

Our team lives and breathes customer service, so hearing about Christine (and her family’s) great experiences with ordering their window treatments from us pretty much made our day.

But we especially love what Christine has to say about using her double honeycomb cell shades to reclaim a sweltering room during the hottest months of summer!  Read on:

The shade made the room immensely cooler. When I pulled the shade halfway down, put one hand on the shade and one hand on the blinds below, there was a massive difference in temperature. I’d guess about 15 degrees. At least!

During this blistering summer heat wave, I’ve been keeping the shade down anytime we aren’t in the room and always during the mid-day heat. This shade has made our room enjoyable again, even during this record-setting hot summer!
