Are My Windows Deep Enough?

Window depth should actually be the first thing a consumer looks into – even before selecting their product! You can measure your windows perfectly, but if you don’t have the right depth, the blind will still not fit in the window – frustrating right?
Start out by using a steel measuring tape to see how deep your window is.
To note: Some windows have handles or other obstructions within the opening, so make sure to account for those as well. You can find the best tips on how to measure for these unique openings under the special measurement consideration link on our site.
Will The Blinds Fit?
Next, go to the “Measuring & Install Specs” tab on the product page of the blinds you’d like to order.
Each product on Blinds.com has a specific page featuring its different available colors, description, measuring & install specs, upgrades, and customer reviews.
You can also order free samples from the same page!
Each product will require different depth, so it is important to look into this first on this tab.
Once you know how much depth your window has, you can look at the Measuring & Install tab featured on the product page. Whether you plan on installing as an inside mount or an outside mount, the website will give you the depth requirements for everything! And to complete your purchase? Simply fill in the order form and click purchase!
