A warm and cozy cottage themed home is what Tiffany of Making the World Cuter previously created with the help of Blinds.com Simplicity Cottage Wood Shutters. Wanting to continue this theme, she outfitted the windows of her sons’ room to create a cozy mountain-themed bunk room that any boy would love.
About Making the World Cuter
Tiffany of Making the World Cuter is an organization freak who loves home makeovers and on a continuous mission to make the world cuter with her blog posts. We’ve teamed up with Tiffany For several previous projects you can read about here: Make Your Windows Cuter…and Safer with InstaFit™, Living Room Reveal and Cute Window Blinds for the Craft Room.
Simplicity Cottage Wood Shutters have smaller slats that gave Tiffany’s living room old world style cozy look. Wanting to continue the theme into her sons’ bedroom, she added the same shutters that helped complete the cottage like atmosphere. Shutters have no cords, so they’re a great choice for child safety in a space where kids will be left unattended like a bedroom.
Because these shutters are almost entirely assembled right out of the box, they are easy to install for those who aren’t DIY savvy. Shutters are available in a number of configurations and can have up to 6 panels across the width of the window. Divider rails can also be added in the center of the panels which allows bottom and top louvers to operate independently.
I would like to thank Blinds.com for supplying the beautiful shutters in this room. I am absolutely in love with this company, their products and their customer service is top notch. I completely recommend them to anyone who is need of window coverings.
These bunk beds are DIY projects that Tiffany and her husband created. Plaid prints throughout the room also add to this cozy atmosphere. To learn more about Tiffany’s bunk bedroom makeover, be sure to check out her blog post, Bunk Room Reveal.
