What a transformation! As we told you earlier this week, bloggers Dria and Nina have been hard at work giving Fire Station 1 in Hudson, MA a brand new look. Before: Before Dria and Nina got their hands on it the room was drab, cluttered and truly falling apart in many places. After: Dria and Nina gave the space a modern, masculine look with a bold graphic rug, black leather recliners and fresh window treatments. Windows with Industrial Flair Grommet curtains are a more modern hardware choice and give windows a cleaner look. They chose the Geneva Grommet Drapery Panels and added another industrial touch with DIY curtain rods made from conduit pipes. See more photos from the big reveal…

Heimtextil, the largest trade fair for interior textiles in the world, takes place each January in Frankfurt, Germany.  This is where interior designers, architects and retail buyers go to source new fabrics and spot emerging design trends. Each year, a group of prominent visionaries are chosen to identify the key themes for the upcoming season, and are given the freedom to design museum-quality, visually stimulating exhibits to show products that can be found at the trade fair that support their findings.  Their deliverables also include a 45 minute presentation and a book.
