PJ Day at Blinds.com- We love Easter Seals!

We’re getting comfy for a great cause! Today schools and offices across Houston participated in a city-wide pajama day to benefit Easter Seals. We, along with many others, collected pajamas that will go to the disabled children and their families that Easter Seals serve – just in time for Christmas! Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for nearly 90 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals. Blinds.com Gives Backpacks & School Supplies to Children in Need

The YMCA of Greater Houston is a hub for helping children. Its fabulous and well-run community centers and programs make it a great place to get involved. Needless to say, we were delighted to learn about Operation Backpack, an organization that collects backpacks, lunchboxes, and school supplies for children in need.
When employees participate in community causes as a group, it helps them understand that their performances are directly connected to the company’s performance. By encouraging them to work together in the name of charity, camaraderie is established and professional connectedness develops.
