A Blog We Love: Design Thoughts

Kim From Design Thoughts

Meet Kim from Design Thoughts

Do you have a friend whose home is crazy fabulous, but she seems to magically make it all happen for pennies on the dollar? That’s Kim Salter.

Kim started her blog, Design Thoughts when she was working as an Interior Designer in New York, and a new mom to a her son Liam. Her family has since relocated to Nashville where she’s writing about the woes of personalizing a rental property with the world’s smallest closet.

Oh, What Paint Can Do!

Kim’s taste is spot on, and she makes risky colors like bright chartreuse seem surprisingly easy to work with. Check out the makeover she gave to her entry way niche with just a coat of paint, and her ikea-cabinet-to-bar-cart transformation.
